TEAM NEWS

Ahead of kick-off in around 45 minutes’ time, let’s get some team news for you.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is deprived of two of his famous attacking trident, as Roberto Firmino is still struggling with the groin injury that meant he couldn’t start the first leg at Camp Nou, while  Mo Salah suffered concussion in the Premier League game at Newcastle on Saturday, so is also ruled out.

Klopp has brought in Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi in place of his missing stars – who both combined to score the winner at Newcastle over the weekend.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde made 11 changes for the La Liga clash at Celta Vigo at the weekend, which his team lost 2-0.

But it’s a much more familiar line-up tonight, with that man Messi leading a team which contains Liverpool returnees Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho (more on them in a moment…)

It’s like for like with the formations, with both teams lining up 4-3-3 (on paper, at least).
