Investigators and officials of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) have put all the fragments of a Sukhoi Superjet-100 plane that burnt at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport in a special hangar.
The fragments will be kept there until the investigation is continuing, according to Svetlana Petrenko, a representative of the Russia’s Investigative Committee (SKR).
Both flight data recorders from the plane that burst into flames after emergency landing were found earlier, and investigators began working with them, Petrenko said on Monday. Several causes for the crash are being considered.
The flight, en route from Moscow to Murmansk, had a total of 78 people on board. The accident killed 41, officials said. Six were hospitalized, according to the Russian Health Ministry.
