The French club continues to dominate while toppling previous highs for winning starts
Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain continue to roll with the most recent victory being a record-breaker for both player and club.
Goals from Mbappe and Neymar in the 70th and 84th minutes, respectively, were just enough for PSG to eek out a 2-1 win over a game Lille side at the Parc des Princes on Friday.
With the win, PSG made it 12 wins from as many games while opening up an 11-point gap on second-place Lille.
The win was a big one as it not only furthered the club's cushion in pursuit of a sixth title in seven years, but it also sealed a European record for the French powerhouse.
Now unblemished through the opening 12 matches, PSG possess the best-ever start for a team in the top-five European leagues.
Mbappe's goal also sealed a personal record for the young Frenchman, who has now scored 11 goals on the young season.
Friday's finish was Mbappe's 40th in Ligue 1 and, at 19 years, 10 months & 13 days, the France forward is now the youngest player to score 40 goals in Ligue 1 in the last 45 seasons.
