That’s gonna leave a mark.
An Ohio woman called 911 on Thursday to report that she had a boa constrictor wrapped around her face. According to audio obtained by Cleveland 19 News, the woman told dispatch the five-foot long rescued serpent was biting her nose.
She claimed there was blood everywhere, apparently from the bite.
“I’ve never heard of this before,” the 911 dispatcher responded.
Firefighters told CBS affiliate station WAFB they arrived at the victim’s home to find her laying in her driveway with the snack wrapped around her neck. WAFB reported that the reptile’s head had to be cut off to get it off the woman.
Dennis Bring, mayor of Sheffield Lake where the incident occurred, told the news outlet he was thrilled with how first responders handled the situation.
“I’m just really pleased with the paramedics response and you know the thought, to think that quick to take out a pocket knife. Obviously he had to destroy the snake but he had no other choice,” Bing said.

The snake was disposed of and the woman was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Passersby spotted and empty snake cage on the woman’s front lawn Friday morning.
The woman declined to be interviewed by news outlets. Bing suggested, when speaking with WAFB, that the victim may be reconsidering owning snakes.
“I would imagine the bite was very painful so she’s gonna have to put up with that while [SIC] too. And now she’s gonna have to make a decision on whether she continues to do this. But, we’ll see,” he said.
According to WAFB, the victim owns two boa constrictors and nine ball pythons.
