As the third debate approaches, Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton have announced their choices of guests, and one is a family member of the current President. In one of the more interesting choices, Trump has invited President Barrack Obama’s paternal half-brother, Malik Obama, to be his guest at the debate, among a list of other notable names.
Who does Trump have in his line-up?
In spite of his half-brother’s political leanings, Malik, who was born in Kenya and is an American citizen, announced support for Trump back in July. According to reports, Malik appears to blame Clinton for the current situation in Libya. The support appears to be mutual, as Trump had said in a released statement that he feels Malik understands today’s world “far better than his brother,” according to CNN.
Another guest Trump has invited is Patricia Smith, who is the mother of Sean Smith, a victim of Benghazi, who had publicly denounced Clinton in the past for “murdering” her son. Smith has confirmed that she will be attending the debate in response to Trump’s request, and hopes to discuss the events of her son’s death with Clinton. According to a released statement, she believes Clinton knows more than what has been said before. Smith also appeared at the Republican National Convention back in Cleveland, where she claimed that she wanted Clinton in jail.
