Donald Trump made a contradictory statement at a campaign rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado. “Even though we’re doing pretty well in the polls, I don’t believe the polls anymore,” Trump told the rally on Tuesday. The fact is Trump is not doing well in the polls at all, trailing Hillary Clinton in nearly every single major national and state poll. Which explains in large part the reason he has chosen the “rigged election” rhetoric, which gets louder as the polling numbers worsen for him.
For example, there is the latest Fox News poll showing Clinton leading Trump by 6 points. Significant because this poll tends to lean toward Republicans, which means the Clinton lead is closer to 10 points nationally.
