ADVERTISER racing experts Lincoln Moore and Ben Scadden with their Track Talk preview for Saturday’s Morphettville races.

BEST OF BEST

BEAUTIFUL FLYER

Race 5, No 2

Quality mare with excellent fresh record, with two wins and a second from four first-up attempts. Wasn’t disgraced in much stronger races during the Adelaide carnival and sharpened up for this with solid Gawler trial placing a fortnight ago. Class factor should prove telling.

BLACK SHEEP

Race 8, No 6

Comes to SA in good form having been beaten less than two lengths his past couple. He’s won seven of 32 starts and Darren Weir has a great strike-rate here in Adelaide. He’s drawn well for late in the day and weighted to win this.

THE EYE-CATCHER

GUN CASE

Race 3, No 1

Smart sprinter from the all-conquering Darren Weir camp who wasn’t far off them in good-quality Flemington race last time. Sandown winner before that and should get perfect trip from inside barrier.

THE TRAINER

PHILLIP STOKES

SOUND MONEY (Race 1)

He led the other day on a heavy track and folded up badly. His work since has been okay but I just want to see an improved run.

MY THREE SONS (Race 2)

He trialled well and I think he’s going to make a really nice miler. I expect him to be running on. He’s an each-way hope.

USAIN DANE (Race 3)

He’s going well. He’s had his share of problems but if he brings his A game, he’s definitely a chance.

FULLY STOKED (Race 6)

It’s a bit of an awkward barrier. He won first-up last time and if he gets a bit of luck he should be thereabouts.

SCOTTY SAYS

BEAUTIFUL FLYER

Race 5, No 2

She goes really well first-up and this is a whole lot easier than the Group races she ran in last campaign. Back to standard city grade, she looks the best of the day.

THE QUADDIE

First leg — 2, 3, 4

Second leg — 3, 4, 5, 6, 8

Third leg — 9, 10, 11

Fourth leg — 2, 6
