After recording a thumping victory against LA Galaxy, our tipster is expecting the Premier League side to provide plenty more goalmouth action in Utah
Manchester United couldn’t have asked for a much better start to their pre-season tour of the USA after running out 5-2 winners against LA Galaxy.
Jose Mourinho’s side flexed their attacking muscle in eye-catching style and dabblebet make them just 1/6 (1.18) to record another victory over Real Salt Lake, which kicks off at 3am on Tuesday morning, UK time.
The home side secured a high-scoring win over Galaxy themselves recently, winning 6-2 in their previous league game but it’s 15/2 (8.50) that they come out on top in this game. The draw is available at 11/2 (6.50) for those who can’t split the teams.
Goals look the way to go in this game though. Mike Petke’s men might have the firepower up front to trouble a United side that leaked twice last time out, but it’s at the back where the hosts could find themselves with plenty of difficulties.
Sitting ninth in the Western Conference, they have conceded 40 goals in just 20 MLS games this term, that’s the second worst tally – behind bottom club Minnesota United – of any team in the competition.
Romelu Lukaku looks set to play a starring role after making his United debut in the previous game with the Belgium international potentially lining up alongside a myriad of attacking options including Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford, who demonstrated his finishing with a double just a few days ago.
Wayne Rooney’s departure should be music to the ears of Mkhitaryan who thrived in the number 10 role during his final season at Borussia Dortmund but initially struggled to establish himself at Old Trafford.
Now though, he looks to be growing into the a role and will surely be hoping to make the spot his own after the acquisition of a striker such as Lukaku who has an impressive goals record in
the top flight.
An open game should be forthcoming here and while Real Salt Lake should trouble a visiting defence still getting up to speed after a summer break, United’s forwards should ensure it’s another win for Mourinho’s men.
The 11/10 (2.10) about an away win where both teams score looks fair enough ahead of what should be another end-to-end encounter.
