One of China’s largest travel agencies has revealed that PSG-linked Neymar has had to cancel a planned trip to China to deal with “transfer issues”.
A statement released by Ctrip read: “It’s with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of Neymar’s forthcoming ‘fans meeting’ set to begin in Shanghai on 31 July.
“Mr. Neymar and his team occupy themselves dealing with transfer issues and they cannot say for sure whether they could manage to arrive in Shanghai on 31 July. So we decided to cancel the ‘fans meeting’.
“Ctrip solemnly promise that all tickets for the ‘fans meeting’ in Shanghai will be refunded at point of purchase and the buyers will be contacted by us soon.”
