FLINT, MI — A police officer stabbed this morning at Bishop Airport is in critical condition following the attack.
Michigan State Police confirmed the condition of the on-duty officer as airport officials prepared to discuss the incident at a news conference scheduled for 11 a.m.
A witness told MLive he saw a man detained near a knife and an officer on his knees and bleeding from the neck.
The airport’s Facebook page says the airport has been evacuated and no passengers have been injured.
People planning to fly from Bishop today are asked to contact their airline for potential cancelations or delays.
