A SUSPECTED carjacker in the US has been caught on camera being dragged pantless along a busy road while clinging desperately onto the driver’s side door.
The dramatic scene was captured by a shocked witness in Kent, Washington, reports The Sun.
Footage shows the suspected carjacker being dragged hundreds of metres along the road as he hangs from the side of a speeding silver SUV.
His shorts fall down and a painful rash can be seen covering his backside.
Moments later, the driver of the SUV stops but as the man stand up he appears to open the car door to attempt and steal it again.
But the motorists continues to move forward, hauling the alleged carjacker for another ride.
Police confirmed the man being dragged by the car was the suspect in several attempted carjackings and was arrested, KIRO-TV reported.
They also said the suspect allegedly punched other cars and was trying to break door handles to get in.
In a post on Twitter the Kent Police Department wrote: “Don’t try and carjack people. If you do, let go if they drive off.”
The suspect was taken to hospital for treatment.
