After promising to ink the ex-Lyon man’s likeness onto his body if he signed, the Gunners supporter was bemused by the result
Some fans will go to ridiculous lengths to show their love of a club or player, as Alexandre Lacazette has just found out.
The striker’s arrival at Arsenal from Lyon has stirred up great excitement amongst the Gunners faithful.
But one supporter went further than most as he decided to tattoo the new signing’s face onto his body.
The Twitter user had promised to ink himself if Lacazette came to Arsenal, and duly complied with the bet once the transfer became official.

At least, it was supposed to be Lacazette – even the unfortunate fan had to admit the depiction looked more like another footballer.

Still, the Frenchman was left laughing by the whole debacle, and even promised him a signed shirt for his troubles.

He should count himself lucky: most people who undergo a terrible tattoo have nothing more to look forward to than a lifetime of regret and awkward conversations.
