Luis Enrique and Constantin Galca met at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Saturday, moments after the final FC Barcelona training session before the derby at 5.00pm CET on Sunday at the Camp Nou.
In keeping with tradition, the Barça and Espanyol managers posed for pictures with their respective shirts and shook hands in to symbolise that above anything else, the local derby is all about fair play and good relations between the neighbouring clubs.
The home side, of course, need a win to ensure they stay top of the table going into the last weekend of the fixture list, while Espanyol still need a point to make mathematically sure of first division survival.

The two coaches faced each other ten times when playing for the clubs that they now coach, with Barça winning six and the other games all ending in draws. And they have already met three times this season. The league game at Cornellà-El Prat ended 0-0, while Barça won the Copa del Rey clash 6-1 on aggregate.
