MAN UTD TEAM NEWS
Jose Mourinho could hand debuts to new acquisitions Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku, who arrived to the club during the summer from Benfica and Everton respectively.
The Portuguese named a 27-man squad for the trip to the United States, with Lukaku joining in with training following the official confirmation of his move. As well as established first-team players such as Paul Pogba, David de Gea and Michael Carrick, Mourinho has included a number of young players for tour.

Youngsters Axel Tuanzebe, Scott McTominay and Demetri Mitchell will have the opportunity to further impress the Red Devils boss after breaking into the first-team squad towards the end of last season.
England international Luke Shaw has also travelled to the US, having overcome an injury that threatened to rule him out for the start of the new season and he will be determined to show that he merits a place in the team following some stinging criticism from Mourinho last year. Eric Bailly is also fit for the tour and may line up alongside new man Lindelof.
MAN UTD BETTING ODDS
Manchester United are 2/5 favourites to win, according to Oddschecker, while LA Galaxy are given at 9/2 to triumph over Jose Mourinho’s men. A draw is priced at 7/2.
Despite winning the Europa League and League Cup last season, Manchester United finished a disappointing sixth place in the Premier League and Jose Mourinho will be under strict orders to improve upon that in 2017-18.
Having had a week to run the rule over his players in the hot Los Angeles sun, Mourinho’s task begins in earnest as his team get some real match experience ahead of the fresh campaign.
The Red Devils kick off this season without two iconic figures in Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left the club this summer, so the complexion of the attack and age profile of the team have both changed significantly.
Depending on what tactical approach Mourinho adopts, new boy Romelu Lukaku could be joined up front by either Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford – two players who have plenty to prove after languishing in the shadow of Ibrahimovic last term.
Either way, it is likely that the United boss will trial two different lineups in either half, with pre-season friendly matches coming thick and fast in the build up to the big kick off in August.
