Everton boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed Ross Barkley will leave the club after rejecting a new contract.
Barkley, 23, has been strongly linked with Tottenham and Arsenal as he enters the final year of his current deal at Goodison Park.
And when asked about the latest on Barkley’s on Wednesday, Koeman told a press conference: “He declined our contract offer and he has told me he is looking for a new challenge. I need to respect that.”
The Dutchman was also asked whether the midfielder would leave 100 per cent, to which he replied: “Yes.”
However, Koeman also revealed that Everton have not received any offers for Barkley.
