Mondelez International incorporation has offered 23 million dollars as a price to won the bid of Hershey company. Mondelez made this huge step in order to start up a the world’s largest confectioner.

Decision makers believe that the merger of the tow companies would bring great benefit for both of them. This union will bring Hershey’s strong U.S. business to Mondelez’s global footprint. The decision makers also believe that the combined company will surpass and exceed Mars incorporation which dominates 13.3 percent of the global market, according to data firm Euromonitor International Ltd.

The bid also included Deerfield, Illinois-based Mondelez against the Hershey Trust, one of Pennsylvania’s wealthiest charities. The trust has great deal of effect and power in the area of decision making. For example, the trust has about 80 percent of Hershey’s voting rights and in 2002 prevented the Hershey, Pennsylvania-based company from being acquired by Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co for $12 billion.
