THE Broncos are on a mission to win back second place on the NRL ladder and it will come down to Thursday’s encounter with the Cowboys.
Brisbane will hit the training paddock today for their second session of the week and it is expected that there will be a major focus on defence.

Wayne Bennett put the Broncos through their paces on Sunday when it came to their defensive work and more is expected today.
Brisbane will also work to find the best replacement for Korbin Sims, who broke his arm in last week’s shocking loss to the Eels.
Young forwards Joe Ofahengaue, Herman Ese’ese and Tevita Pangai Jr will all put their case forward for a promotion from the bench, while Sam Thaiday, who has been starting at hooker, is also in the mix.
